Mark Keppel High School’s Drill Team won first place in the medium military category at the CADTD (California Association of Dance/Drill Team Directors) competition. The event occurred at Glen A. Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights on Saturday, March 4th.

The organization is non-profit and is dedicated to dance and drill programs in California. CADTD is Drill’s last competition of the year, and compared to their last event at the SHARP competition where the team won second in the senior military category and Most Spirited, senior and captain Jasmine Flores feels that they have improved.

Flores stated, “We only had one week [to prepare] from our last competition to this one. We weren’t able to make many changes [to the routine]. We only really had time to clean up [our movements].”
